Mississippi Believe It
Now on to politics - not necessarily one of the better and brighter things - but something that is definitely on all of our minds lately. Not that we have a choice - alright, so I did choose to get this involved in the process - but how about all of you who simply cannot escape it? How are you feeling out there?
I know that I now approach each site in the morning with an equal amount of excitement and dread. Who is doing the talking - the candidates, campaign staff, other prominent figures, news media (television, print and online communities) - the investigation of that one question alone can occupy your entire day. Before you know it, another day has indeed gone by and you are welcomed to your bookmarked sites with a newer, shinier brand of horror. Just when you think it is safe to return or to go outside (hey, it is sunny out there and I do get off the computer once in awhile) you find yourself wondering where the tire treads on your torso came from. Funny how that can happen whether you are outdoors or not.
At any rate, here are a few of the best(?) from this morning:
An assist to the Clinton campaign from another famous female political figure:
The Daily Breeze, Geraldine Ferraro and "If Obama was a white man, he would not be in this position. ..
Obama's response to the floating VP offer:
“I don’t know how somebody who’s in second place can offer the vice presidency to someone who’s in first place ...
Today's Election:
Mississippi's Time to Decide
M-I-S-S-I-S-S-I-P-P-I
"There's a primary today in Mississippi, but, like Wyoming, nobody's talking about it."
That is all I have for now - Go Mississippi!
