Deborah Holds the Torch for Barack!

January 18, 2008 - the day that I decided to become actively involved in anything political and also the day before the Nevada caucuses. That day I discovered Barack Obama and I discovered a lot more about myself. This campaign resonates with me on many levels, the first of which is the message of hope and change presented with intelligence and articulation. Not just words, not just promises, but a new way of looking at all the old things. Another important aspect for me is the opportunity we all have right now - to bring people together.

So, whether you agree with me or not, I challenge all of you to learn as much as you can about all of the candidates and make up your own mind. It seems almost impossible, with all of the information out there, to discover the truth. But I did it, so you definitely can!

In this blog I am hoping to provide you with the links to the best political brains out there to help you in your search. I promise to be honest with you in all of my correspondence as to where I stand and I will do so without berating any other candidate.

Please feel free to join in, ask questions, request information and post your own comments!
There is so much more that we can learn together, and from each other, than we can alone.

So, here I am passing the first torch ... let's heat this place up!
